Hattie Larlham corporate relations officer,
a check for $1,000.
The money was raised through
a Feb. 13, 2008, fundraiser at the Akron
Barley House. More than 140 people came
out to the second annual event to bid on
Cleveland Cavs memorabilia, including an
autographed LeBron James jersey.
Last
year’s fundraiser for Hattie Larlham
brought in $500.
“We were able to
double our donation in just one year,”
Stornes said. “It’s a great
accomplishment any time you can do that.”
