Art is an important communication vehicle––an expression of thoughts, emotions, reactions and opinions. It is the culmination of an artist’s experiences and impressions. It is at once a creative response to and a statement about the world. A portion of the artist is invested in every piece.

Hattie Larlham Creative Arts is a studio where people with disabilities interested in art can paint, create ceramic pieces or shoot photos. A staff of art trackers assists program participants in realizing their goals. During each session, residents have one-on-one time with a professional artist, who is there to do exactly what the artist wants.
