Hattie Larlham Constant Companions day program for adults with developmental disabilities
Hattie Larlham Constant Companions is a social day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Constant Companions

At Constant Companions, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities benefit from shared social interaction and group activities. Community inclusion and involvement is large part of Constant Companion's appeal. Program participants and staff take regular field trips to Northeast Ohio organizations and engage in recreation activities. Volunteerism is also a part of the Constant Companions experience. Participants take part in civic programs and give back to the community.

Constant Companions incorporates animal care into the program. Participants learn the responsibility of caring for domestic animals including cats, rabbits, birds and fish. They also gain the emotional benefits of nurturing and learning about the animals in their care. Constant Companions is home to several animals rescued from Northeast Ohio animal shelters.

More details can be found in our program brochure or by contacting the location near you. Tours are available.
