The activities assistant provides day programming to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities served at Constant Companions, focusing on community-based activities. The activities assistant will engage Constant Companions participants in a variety of outings and activities. Services may include assisting participants with personal care, transportation, interpersonal relationships and other services outlined in the individual service plan (ISP).
This is a part-time position. Working hours are 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, but must be flexible to meet the needs of the Constant Companions program.
The activities assistant position requires a high school diploma or GED. At least one year experience working with people with disabilities is preferred. A valid Ohio driver’s license meeting Hattie Larlham's driving requirements is required. Candidate must pass criminal background check and post-offer drug screening.
