Route starts at the Center for Children with Disabilities
The Hattie Larlham driver/transporter is responsible for driving a van or bus and will transport people with intellectual and developmental disabilities from their homes to their day programs. Will be responsible for route schedules and ensuring people served arrive to programs safely and on time. Responsible for performing daily vehicle(s) cleaning and maintenance. Will ensure vehicle(s) safety through all required inspections.
This is a part-time, split-shift position working 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. and 1:30-3:30 p.m. No weekend or holiday work is required.
Must hold a high school diploma or GED. Must have valid Ohio driver’s license and must meet Hattie Larlham’s driving requirements. Attention to detail and a cheerful, positive and professional demeanor. Past experience driving a van and/or 12-person passenger bus is preferred, but training is offered. Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred. CPR certification is required. If not currently certified, candidate must be willing to obtain CPR certification through Hattie Larlham.
