Group Home LPN - Summit County

Job Description

The licensed practical nurse (LPN) will monitor, document and provide health care services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities as outlined in their care plan. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, medication administration and active treatment of people served.

This is a part-time position; working 18 hours per week on second shift (3 p.m. – 9 p.m.). The group home LPN position requires shifts every other weekend and every other holiday.

Job Requirements

The group home LPN position requires a current Ohio LPN license from an accredited practical nursing school. CPR and first aid is required as is a valid Ohio driver’s license which meets Hattie Larlham’s driving requirements. Experience with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred. The position also requires at least one or two years of experience in a hospital, nursing home, or developmental disabilities facility. The ideal candidate must have good judgement and critical thinking skills.
