Group Home Manager, Summit County

Job Description

The home manager is responsible for the home’s day to day management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the overall health, safety, development and supervision of staff and residents. The home manager is on call 24/7, responds to emergencies, handles staff scheduling, grocery shopping and resident appointments.

This is a full-time position with variable hours. Base hours are 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., but require flexibility to meet the group home and the people served needs.

Job Requirements

This job requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Ohio driver’s license, which must meet driving requirements. This candidate must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and have at least one year of direct care experience, but supervisory experience is highly preferred. Candidate must pass a criminal background check and post-offer drug screening.
