The human resources intern works on various projects including assisting with personnel file maintenance and file audits, performing annual registry checks, maintaining an applicant and employee tracking database and learning the essential functions of the human resources department, state and federal employment rules and laws and the organization’s policies.
The human resources intern provides support to the human resources department with its talent-sourcing efforts. Focusing on both clinical and non-clinical openings, the intern will review applicants for designated job requisitions in our applicant tracking system and forward qualified applicants to the respective human resources team member for further consideration and potential phone interviews.
This part-time, unpaid internship opportunity provides practical work experience for human resources, business and other related majors through working hands-on with the human resources.
