Have fun this summer and get paid.
Working 20-30 hours per week, you will gain experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities at various Northeast Ohio job sites, assessing work skills and behaviors. The assessment specialist offers guidance to job-seeking adults with disabilities and assists in the process of learning work tasks and responsibilities. The assessment specialist also provides transportation and documents daily accomplishments. Assessment specialists have fun, build resume experience and have an irreplaceable summer experience.
The 2017 summer program runs from June to August.
The assessment specialist position requires a high school diploma or GED and one year experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the area of habilitation, prevocational and vocational tasks or related field. The ideal candidate must meet Hattie Larlham’s driving requirements.
