Hattie Larlham is a nonprofit organization that provides quality heath care to children and adults with developmental disabilities. The majority of the children and adults who receive medical and therapy services at Hattie Larlham have cerebral palsy and developmental disabilities including or resulting from prenatal disorders or complications, birth-related injuries, brain malformations, traumatic brain injuries, autism and/or severe infections. Other medical complications often arise in people diagnosed with developmental disabilities. Hattie Larlham is able to provide health care services for these conditions as well. These may include seizures, pneumonia, asthma, osteoporosis, scoliosis, hearing and/or visual impairment and/or motor dysfunction.

Beyond health care and medical services, Hattie Larlham also provides programs and services that support and nurture the residential and vocational aspirations of people with developmental disabilities.

Vocational Services

Hattie Larlham vocational services provide adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to earn a fair wage for a day's work. Hattie Larlham operates several social enterprises such as Hattie's Café & Gifts and Hattie's Doggie Day Care & Boarding that not only provide customers with quality products and services, but also provide career-minded adults with disabilities a safe and encouraging place to learn fundamental job skills and interact with the communities in which they live.

Foster Care

Hattie Larlham recognizes the importance of involving parents and loved ones in the foster care process. The goal of the Hattie Larlham foster care program is to achieve long-term placement of children and adults with developmental disabilities in loving, caring homes.

Recreational Services

Respite/home care programs can assist families in caring for a child or adult with developmental disabilities.
