Volunteer at Hattie Larlham

We have volunteer opportunities throughout Northeast Ohio.

When volunteering with Hattie Larlham, you can make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will get hands-on experience doing activities, playing games or reading with our adults and children. Corporations, civic and school groups can volunteer for service days or for school requirements.

You can join us as a one-time volunteer or come weekly, monthly or for a semester. We welcome your talents and interest in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Volunteer Requirements

  • You will be required to complete our Volunteer Application
  • If you are representing a group, please complete the Group Volunteer Application
  • You must complete the application process to be scheduled for a volunteer date and activity in advance with our volunteer coordinator
  • Volunteer experiences may require a background check, training, TB testing and flu shot.

Our monthly junior volunteer program in Mantua for children between the ages of 7-13, creates inclusive activities for all abilities.
